A "Delightful" Weekend

It is so hard to put into words how fantabulous this weekend was! But, I don’t want to wait too long to share it with you, because if I don’t try and do it justice now, it will never happen.

So with that said, I had an outstanding (nifty, corking, swell, peachy, nifty, not bad, wicked) weekend.

It all started Friday evening with, what better than, the LPL Simulcast. There were so many reasons I was giddy for it but the main reason being that back during my freshman year of college, the first verse I ever really intentionally memorized on my own without someone forcing me to was Psalm 37:4. It was a promise that I desperately needed to remember at the time and it quickly became a verse that I not only loved to pieces, but attached myself to. Of course since then I’ve attached myself to other verses throughout the years, but six years later it is still a promise I believe from our God, and most certainly still one of my favorites.

So, imagine my surprise when I read on the LPM blog that Beth was going to be teaching out of Psalm 37! I knew at that moment that there was no way I could miss the simulcast. However, I really didn’t want to go alone. I asked Jen earlier in the week if she’d planned on going, and she said she was not, so I figured I just wouldn’t go. Then, later in the week, sweet Kelli sent Jen and I a message wondering if either of us were attending. Kelli is a blog friend whom I had yet to meet in person, but I immediately replied, “I’ll go if you go!” You know, because I’m insecure like that.

Anyway, needless to say, Kelli and I met up at HFBC on Friday night, hugged each other for the first time, and then ate up every word Beth had for us. To say that the message came at impeccable timing in this season of my life would be the biggest understatement ever!

I know we all have countless desires that we’ve placed before the Lord, but need I even say the one desire in my heart that has yet to come to fruition? If you’ve read my blog for any length of time, you know by now that my singleness is the one thing I wrestle with incessantly.

Single. 24 years old. Never dated anybody, let alone even been on a date. No first kiss. No romantic embrace. Nothing. Nada.

Most times all I can ask is, “Why, Lord? What is your purpose in this? What are you up to?”

And sometimes when I’m being completely honest and vulnerable before Him, I tell Him how miserable it can be sometimes. Sounds pathetic, I know. But it’s the cold hard truth.

Of course, then there are the sweet times like Beth was talking about where all I can do is praise Him and thank Him for taking me on this journey. It’s a wild one, an un-common one, a confusing one sometimes and I love it.

Basically, this season of my life has left me in some sort of bi-polar state. It’s rare, I tell you! And by referring to this bi-polar state, I’m not poking fun at the seriousness of it, I’m just a girl who happens to be an emotional mess at times.

I can’t even begin to tell you how each and every point in her lesson was perfect, encouraging, affirming, and convicting for me, I am still pondering so much of it my heart. But what I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt is that SOMETHING IS UP! Waiting is most certainly one of the hardest things, but I am so thankful for a journey that I can’t explain. Only God would protect me for some reason or another from countless break-ups and heart aches with boys. Only God would mark out such a journey for this wee little 20-something. Something is at stake. Whatever happens in my journey, I can tell you one thing for sure, HE will receive EVERY bit of GLORY! And I meant that.

Next time Satan starts whispering lies about my singleness to me, or lies about what I have or haven’t done or am doing wrong, I’m going to turn right around, beat him on the head and tell him it’s not about me, or what I’m doing, it’s about God’s Glory and that is HUGE!

And quite honestly and most importantly, it’s not even about the desires of my heart, but the heart of my desires.

The other fun part of the weekend was that I got to meet a fellow blogger, Heather, who was there with Amanda, whom of course, is always a joy to see. (Amanda, I realized Saturday we've never taken a picture together! I have one with every other blog person I've met, so we need to fix that next time we see eachother!) I’ve never read Heather’s blog, but, I recognized her face from the little profile picture she has when she comments. It was so funny! She is seriously cute and has that thickest hair I’ve ever seen, or felt (yes, I felt a strangers hair!) in my life, and I am now a proud subscriber to her blog, because homegirl makes me laugh and after reading a few of her posts, I can tell we both love shopping, which is a huge plus. Also, we totally talked about Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets on Saturday, so doesn't that make us BFF?

After the conference was over Kelli and I met up with Jen for lunch at Olive Garden. It was super tasty to say the least and I so enjoyed visiting with the girls even more! She is just about the sweetest thing ever and I’m not even going to tell you about the email she sent me Friday night after the conference. You can tell she is just sweet, gentle and has a huge heart for people in general. Basically, I love my new blog friend and am so glad we got to experience this weekend together, it made it all the more special!

Once I got home on Saturday I was completely exhausted, but, there was no time to nap. That night we took our friend Jessie, who we basically adopted when she moved here from New Orleans after hurricane Katrina, to Joe’s Crab Shack to celebrate her 63rd birthday! It was fun, but I was super tired. Jessie and her son Floyd are so dear to our hearts, and even lived with us for about 6 weeks after the hurricane. Would you mind praying for them if they come to mind? They have so much going on that I won’t even go into detail, but I know they would so appreciate your prayers.

Sunday was the typical busy Sunday! Why are they so crazy, I ask you? I went to church, lunch, had a leadership meeting, small group meeting with my Senior girls where we started Living Beyond Yourself (Woo Hoo!), and then had a couples wedding shower that my parents helped host for one of my life long friends, Jonathan. It was fun to see so many people that are so dear to our hearts and just catch up and laugh! A good time was had by all.

All in all, I had the best weekend. However, when I got home I practiced major self-control (we’re working on this one) by putting up my computer and getting in bed long before midnight. It felt great!

On that note, I'm off to Shred, eat and get some sleep!

Me and Sweet Kelli!

Jen and Kelli!

All three of us!

Me and Jen! (You know, because we don't have enough pictures together.)

Our table at Joe's Crab Shack for Jessie's 63rd birthday.

Me and my sweet neighbor, whom I've known since she was 4 months old and now she's in 4th grade!

My dad was super excited about his bucket o' mess! Check out the bib.

Sweet Jessie being sung too!

The Cookie or the Carrot?

Apparently I have a look about me that compels complete strangers to tell me their thoughts.

This really doesn't bother me at all because frankly, I've learned some of the quirkiest facts.

Take for instance tonight, I'm standing in the check out line shivering at Kroger, which, can we just talk about this for a minute? Why, oh why, do they feel the need to freeze out the store at 18 degrees? I just don't think it's necessary to develop frost bite while picking out my whole grain bread. I understand it is 178 degrees outside, but there is no need to send our bodies into shock. I'm just sayin'. (At least I was prepared because I BROUGHT A SWEATSHIRT to put on after Jazzercise because I knew I'd be hitting up the grocery store after a sweaty workout. Cold and wet isn't exactly the best thing. But really, who puts on a sweatshirt after working out in the summer in Houston, TX? It's just wrong.)

But I digress.

Back to the checkout line.

So I'm standing there joyfully admiring all the magazines, when the girl in front of me, out of the blue says to me:

"You know, carrots have more sugar than cookies."

Acting completely naive, I said:

"Oh, really?"

And she replied:

"Yes, I went to college for nutrition so I know these things."

At that point I felt the need to sprint to the vegetable section, throw my carrots back on the shelf in disgrace and run to the cookie aisle in extreme delight to pick out my cookie of choice. Would it be Oreos? Chips Ahoy!? E.L. Fudge? Oh, the excitement is just too much to handle.

I'm not sure if she was upset because I didn't do that, but I just replied nicely by saying:

"Well thanks. I'll keep that in mind!"

But, really folks? I understand that carrots aren't the most nutritious vegetable in the pyramid, and that they are higher in the sugar content than most vegetables, but last time I checked, grabbing 10 carrots before grabbing 10 cookies was the wiser way to go. I mean, it is natural sugar after all. Not many calories. Not much fat. Some vitamins. Helps your eyes. I just see way more benefit in the carrot over the cookie. Granted, I wish it was the other way around, but unfortunately, it's not.

I'm no nutritionist by any means, but I think I am going to forgo the cookie pack for the carrot pack at this point and time.

However, next time your tempted between the cookie and carrot, totally go for the cookie. I mean after all, it does have less sugar.

Back to School...Back to School

Today has been unusually quite here at the office. And really, just around town in general. (I realize that makes me sound like I live in a small "town", but rest assured, I do not. Houston is so far from small.)

You see, today was the first day of school for most, if not all, of our students. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that summer is officially over, but it just is.

Part of me is sad because I am that person that loves summer. I look forward to it all year. I love the clothes, I love that people are out and about, I love vacation, and frankly, I love the heat. (Well, not so much the heat, but I enjoy warm, sunny weather. Not so much the hot, sweltering, humid temperatures that we've been sporting the past three months, and will continue to have well into October.) I'm also downcast because since school is back in session, it means that I won't see "my girls" as much. I got so used to them being able to go to lunch, or hang out longer in the evening, or go on trips with us and whatnot. However, now they have an obligation to school first which is just depressing. And boy oh boy do these sisters get busy once school gets in full gear!

However, part of me is relieved because yes, as much as I love summer, I simply have no routine whatsoever. The idea of any type of schedule is completely thrown out the window and I fly by the seed of my pants. It's crazy, insane to say the least! As much as my personality can fly by the seed of it's pants (how funny does that sound?), by the time school starts back up, I'm more than ready for a sense of normalcy. This was my third summer in youth ministry, and I'm almost certain they've gotten crazier and crazier. So, as much as I mourn the death of summer by school, I rejoice at the thought of having somewhat of a routine. No more summer means Tuesday night bible study, normal days off, weekly and monthly meetings back in session, small groups and so much more. All affairs I am so ready for!

And lastly, part of me is reminiscing on my past days of school. Believe it or not, I do miss it. Every now and then there is a part of me that creeps up and I feel a loss of the desire that I never became that teacher I always wanted to be. I think it stems from the fact that so many of my friends are, or are becoming teachers and it is so fun watching them get ready for school and set up their classrooms, and I just never got to do it. And seriously, folks, how can you walk past the school supply aisle and not crave those new pencils, pens, and countless other school supplies? Oh, they bring joy to my heart. School supplies that is. But in all honestly, not only do I miss not being a teacher, sometimes I just miss school in general. I miss all the excitement and anxiety over the first day of school. There's just something so intruiging about it! (Granted, I'm positive I wouldn't have said that my last year of college, but I guess that absence makes the heart grow fonder?)

The last thing I want you to hear is me complaining about my job. I adore my job. Actually, I've never loved my job more than I have the past two or three months. It has been such a fruitful, sweet summer and I will cherish each memory in my heart. In fact, I've found that I have used so much of my degree with the girls. The truth is, my education degree can be used for all of life, but sometimes I think about what it would have been like had I have used it in an "educational" setting. As every teacher out there is teaching each student the basics of life like math, science, history, english and every other subject known to man kind, I am teaching them to love Jesus more and more everyday. And praying that they too, get this "subject!"

These are just some of the thoughts I had this morning when I got up thinking about every teacher and student that was getting up at the butt crack of dawn, putting on their "Sunday best", and heading to school. (Oh, and did I mention I do not miss the "butt crack of dawn" early mornings? I really don't. Not one bit. Bless the hearts of those that have to see 5 a.m. every morning.)

So, as we mourn the loss of summer here in Houston, TX today, I'll share with you some fun pictures of my exciting weekend with "my girls!" No lie, I saw them every night for five nights in a row last week and my heart was just delighted. To say that the Lord has given me a love for these girls is a complete understatement. As much as I can miss teaching sometimes, I am beyond grateful for the opportunity He has given me to serve and love these girls. I mean that, truly, from the bottom of my heart. They are my "class" without a classroom or cute desks to put totes, pencils and pens on. They are my homeroom!

We didn’t take any picture Wednesday at Bible Study so I’ll skip straight to Thursday.

Thursday night was super exciting because Phil Wickham was doing a concert at a church on our side of town, so I got some girls together and we had a grand ole’ time. If you don’t know who Phil Wickham is, you really need to check him out. You are missing out on a true treasure. Divine Romance, Beautiful and True Love bless my socks off and are three of my absolute favorite songs. Go check him out! We didn’t get a picture with Phil, but here I am with the girls.

Friday night we had a Mexico Reunion party and it was a blast. We talked about Mexico, prayed over Mexico, shared pictures, stories, videos and of course, laughed uncontrollably. We were truly blessed to have a great group go with us that got along so well, and became really unified. I am so grateful for that group! I love them.

One of my girls took my camera and proceeded to have a photo shoot with me and Mariana.

Crazy girls!

We just kept smiling!

Saturday night we had a Sisters in Christ party to welcome some of the new freshman. I always am so tickled when we introduce them into the new land of high school, because they are so reserved at first! I know it is so intimidating, but our older girls did a great job at making them feel welcome. I know in a matter of time those giggly, talkative, hyper 8th grade girls will be back to their normal selves and acting like crazy.

Aren't they just the sweetest group of girls?
This is what I have to live through, people. These girls torture me. Here they are literally smelling my armpits. First I want to apologize that this could possibly be the worst picture of me ever, but I also want to apologize to you if this is just TMI. I didn't think you'd believe it unless you saw it.

ICE CREAM!

Torture, yet again. Here they have proceeded to push me out of my chair and are forcing Ice Cream into my mouth. I was doing just fine eating it on my own.

Freshman Girls! (At least the 5 that came!)

Sophmore Girls!

Some of the Junior Girls!

About half of my SENIOR girls!

I love sweet Laura! We've had some hilarious moments together.

Sunday we had our first 2:42 (small group) with my SENIOR girls. It’s absolutely crazy that they’re Seniors but I am seriously looking so forward to this year. We’ve had about a year of building trust since I came, and I can truthfully say now that these girls are so ready to go deeper and really dig into God’s Word and be vulnerable in the group. It thrills my heart! Next week we’re starting Living Beyond Yourself and we’re all super excited. It was the first Beth Moore study I ever did, when I was only one year older than them, so I know they’re ready and will be super blessed and challenged this semester.

ALL of my Senior Girls. My heart is so happy!

These girls so have my heart.

A Fashion Icon

Last Sunday, as my dad was walking into the service at church, he was behind three middle school girls. Naturally they were chatting it up and of course, being my dad, he eavesdropped in on the whole conversation.

Just the fact that he listened to them tickles me, but it was later on at lunch when he recounted to me the entire conversation that I was extremely humored.

Let me recount it to you:

Girl #1 to girl #2: "Yeah, she is totally my fashion icon."

Girl #3: "Who are y'all talking about?"

Girls #1 & #2: "Lindsee Eddy."

Girl #3: "Oh yeah, she's totally mine, too."

Girl #1: "Yeah, she's tall like me so I can wear whatever she wears."

What they didn't know is that my dad was behind them and he was giggling.

Y'all, I just laughed. I mean, it is so precious and I feel completely loved, but I just never knew I was a fashion icon. Does that mean I get to start my own clothing line soon? Ha!

However, fashion icon aside, it got me thinking.

These are the girls I minister to.

They may never in their life hear one word I say to them.

They may never remember one bible study I taught them.

They may never remember one event I planned.

But, I can tell you one thing, they are watching my every action, word, move, and dress whether I like it or not. Or whether I am "on" or not.

Which means that I best be living above reproach.

I'm not saying I have to have everything together at all times, they absolutely need to see my flaws and weaknesses, but my prayer is that they would see Christ in all I do and say. And that I would intentionally point them to Christ whenever I get the chance. It's not the easiest thing in the world, you know, living like Christ and all, because clearly I am still human and have no problem gratifying my flesh, but if I really have girls dressing like me, I sure as heck don't want them to be dressing in skimpy little things.

If I have girls talking like me, I don't want them talking trash.

If I have girls acting like me, I hope they are acting like Christ.

I truly don't say any of this to toot my own horn. To be completely honest, I am the least of these when it comes to fashion icons. (I mean, don't get me wrong, I love me some clothes, love them, but I didn't know loving clothes makes you a fashion icon.) It's just the reality of my job. And a huge reality check for me.

I once heard someone say that everybody has at least seven people looking up to them at one time. So that means that you, yes you yourself, could be a fashion icon.

But really, if that is true, don't you hope and pray that they see Christ in your life? That they see a set apart life?

I do. I really, really do. And I know it's super hard.

However, if you by chance are wondering how in the world you too can become a fashion icon, look no further. You've come to the right place. Click here and you'll be a fashion icon in minutes.

It's as easy as 1, 2...9.

And remember, don't ever overdue the accessories. That is totally a fashion woe.

The Post I Wrote for her 25th Birthday

There is a girl I've known, as I like to say, since before the womb. You may know her as Jen the Newlywed, but I like to refer to her as my BFF, or just plain Jen or Jennifer. (I've never been one to call her Jenny.) And when I say I've known her since the beginning of time, it's no lie. We've literally grown up together. I never even remember actually "meeting" her, I've just always known her, and boy oh boy do I love her to pieces. She's hilarious, witty, giving, beautiful, encouraging, loves the Lord and serves Him endlessly, loves music, loves her family and is a fabulous wife, sister and friend.

I don't think the Lord could have created two different BFF's when he created us, but throughout our life, our friendship has always just worked and it is one of the biggest blessings indeed. We used to joke about how if our parents weren't such good friends growing up, we probably wouldn't have "chosen" to be friends with each other, but I can't imagine not being her friend. The Lord knew I would need her and so he blessed me with her despite our parents being friends forever!

Not only did we grow up together, we did everything together. And I mean that quite literally! We went to the same church, same schools, same choir, same youth group and so on and so forth. We were inseparable! When we were kids back in the day, I was known to throw a fit if she couldn't spend the night for a reason or even hide at her house when my mom came to pick me up. I loved being with her, and still do to this day 25 years later.

I don't throw fits when I have to go home anymore, but I do throw fits when I don't get to see her as often as I'd like because we're both busy folks. We don't go to the same church anymore, but I know that she loves the Lord more now then ever and she has a husband she gets to go with every week. We aren't in the same youth group anymore, and frankly, I'm okay with that because as much as I loved my youthful days, I am glad they are over. Plus, she gets to be in a real live newlywed class and have newlywed friends and I love hearing about her new couple friends. And, we aren't in the same choir anymore, but at any given moment you can catch us harmonizing to anything and everything.

Even though we live two separate lives, nothing, and I mean nothing, has changed.

We still eat Chinese food whenever we get the chance.

She still knows when to encourage me and knows the exact thing to say.

We still act like total dorks and laugh our heads off.

She knows me better than I know myself.

I got to stand next to her on her wedding day, and one day, hopefully sooner than later, she'll stand next to me on mine.

Her parents are still like my second parents.

We still have more friends in common than anybody else I know.

Basically, I love this girl and I love that I got to celebrate her on her special 25th birthday, over Mexican food nonetheless. What's more appropriate than chips and queso? I hope and pray the Lord gives her 75 more blessed years! Enjoy a recap in pictures of our night.

Jen got a Snuggie for her birthday. I'm not only jealous that she got a Snuggie, but that it's leopard print. And, how is that for a lady liberty pose?

Of course, her precious Dad, Jack, made her this delightful Italian birthday cake. It tasted just as good as it looked.

Jack showing off his creation.

Jen excited about this creation.

Look how quaint. A Snuggie, a light (that came with the Snuggie, mind you) and People magazine. What more does a girl need?

Since Jeremy and Grant never got birthday cakes, Jack made them their own cake for this evening. It was priceless!

Grace was ecstatic about Jen's cake. Seriously ecstatic! It was her favorite. Here she is helping Jen blow out the candle.

Flowers from her sweet Dad!

I really want this Snuggie. And I'm not even kidding! Look, we both fit!

I love you, my dear, sweet, hilarious BFF and wouldn't trade you for anything in the world. Thank you for being one of the best friends a girl could ever wish for! I hope your 25th year is the best one yet! (And I am praying that perfect house shows up soon!)

Back In a Routine...Hopefully

I know y'all, it's been a sweet forever again since I've blogged. But really, what's new? However, I am happy to report that I think I am back. For good. Like I used to blog. You know, like every few days or so. And frankly, I am so ready for that! (And I know y'all really care, too. Ha!)

I have LOVED this summer to pieces, loved it. But the minute I returned home from Jr. High camp last Thursday night, I threw my own little "Welcome Back!" party. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that all my crazy traveling was done for the summer, that I wasn't sick anymore, and that I could return to work to get started on stuff for the fall semester. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that soon and very soon, I'll have somewhat of a routine back. Basically, this summer kicked my butt and unfortunately, as good as it was, and as exhausting as it was, all good things have to come to an end.

So, as I prepare to blog again, I'll start out with the simple list format. It does my brain good. So here goes...

1) After all was said and done with Montezumas Revenge, we came to find out that it was most likely Salmonella and not Monty's Revenge. Looking back at the different situations, that could be highly possible and our symptoms match up almost perfectly. I finally went to the doctor after a week of being miserable and keeping nothing in me, and needless to say, I would never, ever wish that upon anybody. Ever. So, be sure to cook your eggs right, wash everything after eating that splendid chicken of yours and so on and so forth. Well, that is unless you want to have miserable stomach issues and loose a considerable amount of weight quickly.

2) Before I left for Jr. High camp, I had the pleasure of attending one of my sorority sisters wedding. Laura was absolutely gorgeous and it is evident that she and Adam are so in love. It was precious! If you know me, you know I love weddings and this one did not disappoint. Nor did the cake. I love seeing all my college girls so often. They make me smile! Laura, you were gorgeous and I pray huge blessing on your new marriage. I know you are going to love being a wife to Adam for the rest of your life. I love you!

Mr. & Mrs. Sanders!

Me with beautiful Laura.

I rode to the wedding with Megan (my old roommate) and Daniel. It was so fun catching up! Soon she's taking me to Crave so I can know the goodness that is cupcakes.
Some of my favorite lambs! (Phi Lambs, that is!)

Adios!

3) A little over a month ago, I decided to give up drinking all sodas, but most particularly, Diet Coke since that's about the only type of carbonated beverage I drink. It was a stretch at first and super hard. Every Diet Coke I walked past was calling my name, and the urge to drink one was ridiculous. Plus, the headaches were just stupid. In Mexico when everyone and their moms were drinking one, I about gave up, but held strong. Well, I have to tell you that in that time period I've had one, yes one, Diet Coke and quite frankly, it was gross. I got it on our way to camp last week because I needed something to keep me awake while driving, and since there was no coffee at wee little convenient store, that was my only choice. However, it took me all five days to finish that one Diet Coke. Needless to say, I'm over it. Completely over it. And in the process lost five pounds. No lie! I promise you, tea and water are the best drinks ever.

4) Clearly, as stated above, we took our Jr. High students to Student Life Camp last week and we had a blast. Student Life knows how to throw a good camp, and I feel like this year, despite our nine hour electricity loss due to a mini hurricane, was exceptional. The sweetest part is to see the change in the kids when they get back and hear them talk about what God showed them at camp. I love that! And it never fails that I learn a few things myself as well. (Duh!) Plus, this year not only did David, our Middle School youth pastor, win youth pastor of the day, but that same day our church won church group of the day. It was a delightful week indeed! Delightful and exhausting.

Our church group of the day photo op! (Taken with my iPhone. Not bad at all!)

5) Recently I started going to a different bible study on my side of town, and I think it's a keeper for the school year, which is really exciting. Being in ministry, it's so hard to find something that fits in your schedule, but this bible study is not only close to my house, it is on the perfect day and in the evening. I am really excited what the Lord has in store for that!

6) Have I ever told you how much I absolutely adore my new iPhone? Because I do. It's pretty super if I do say so myself.

7) In other news, I am moving out of my parents house in exactly one month. It's actually totally a God thing for both me and my new roommate and I am thrilled! Once it gets closer I'll fill you in on more details but, this means that I've got to start organizing and deciding how exactly my new room is going to look. Any ideas? I am taking my old college furniture, but am painting it and getting new bedding. So question, without knowing anything, tell me what you prefer, black or brown? (This would be for the furniture I'm painting.) I'm torn and don't know exactly what to do. Help a sister out, would you??? I have this bed from IKEA.

8) Texas just issued a new drivers license, and since mine was up for renewal, I got the new one. I'm not to sure how I feel about it. It not only looks, but feels, fake. At least it's horizontal for life now! Can I get an Amen?! (For those of you who are confused, if you are under 21 in Texas you get a vertical license. I never wanted to renew mine until I had to, so for nine years, I suffered with an akward vertical license.) Take a look for yourself.

Old one.

New one.

9) This coming Thursday is Jen's 25th Birthday and I am thrilled. So thrilled, in fact, that I already have her birthday present. How is that for productive??? Don't worry, I'll keep you updated on all birthday festivities. (And just for the record, I don't even know if there will be any. I am pitifiul.)

Me and Jen on my 24th birthday! She's next.

10) Lastly and certainly not least, guess where I'm headed in just a few short weeks??? That would be MONTANA to see my precious Joanna. Yes ma'am, it's finally happening. She's lived there for two years now with her sweet hubby and I feel like if I don't go now, it will never happen since they won't live there much longer. While I'm there we're going camping and I could not be more thrilled. I about wet myself today when I purchased that airline ticket and called Jo to tell her it was official. We're both beside ourselves! The only thing that could make this trip absolutely perfect is if Jen and Sal could come, too. However, I'm not stopping them!

I know without a shadow of a doubt a TON of this will be happening. Yes, it's the ugly laugh. And I can't wait.

Well folks, if I go to bed now I'll get a good, restful eight hours of sleep in and I am all about that.

Because you know, it is all about ROUTINES!

Goodnight, y'all!

And goodnight moon.
