I woke up Wednesday morning to a decorated bathroom! It was so fun. The roommies were especially good to me. Claire also had banana bread baking in the over upon my waking up and the smell was divine, as was the actual bread itself.
Then when I got to work, I walked in to a super random decorated office. It's tradition for us, but we all love it. I like to think we keep King Dollar in business. My co-worker, Sonya, also blessed me with a pumpkin bread loaf that morning! It was a loaf kind of birthday and I am far from complaining. So yummy!
Bob Harper made yet another appearance. He's so sweet like that to make birthday calls.
That day my bosses took me to Olive Garden for lunch and I was in Chicken Scampi heaven. And bread stick heaven. And salad heaven.
After work, my family and roommies celebrated with me over dinner at Willie's Icehouse. My mom had rehearsal for praise team, so it had to be an early dinner, which was fine, but I was beyond stuffed so I ordered kids chicken fingers. How's that for exquisite? As I said before, we had a super flirty waiter, but we made the most of it and had a fun time.
Me and Brien after dinner! Kev, my little brother, is a camp counselor all summer at a camp north of Houston, so he was clearly unable to join us. Of course we missed him, but he was sure to call the first minute he could get to his phone. (Y'all please pray for him, his backpack with his mac computer, camera and other items were stolen on Saturday! Sad day.)
Mandy, me and Claire. The roommies! We only have about 2 more months to live together. Crazy!
My parents crack me up, but I love this picture! Love them!
Kathi, whom I like to refer to as my aunt, also came to help celebrate. She's like family! Thank you, Kathi!
My fun little family!
The next day I met my friend, Jen, at Lupe Tortilla for lunch. She didn't think she was going to be able to make it to my party, so we planned this little date. It was great fun! I love this girl! The best part is that she was able to come, so I got to see her two days in a row. Score!
Friday night I had a little party with a few of my friends in town. I so missed Hannah and Raven to pieces, but I'll get to hug their necks soon enough! We had a blast bowling and eating at BJ's. I am by far the least competitive person you'll meet, so I lost in a bad way, but I was just overjoyed to be spending the evening with some of my favorite people. Plus, I hadn't been bowling in forever, so I was a little rough! We bowled on a great night and not many people were there which was great. Less people equals less smoke!
Here I am about to bowl. Oh, the skill, y'all, it's intense. ;)
Me and Claire with our identical bowling balls!
Claire and Jen! Cute girls!
Heather was a rock star at bowling. She schooled us all!
Look at Jen's form here. Technique, people. That's true technique.
Jen and Heather!
Me and Heather! She has quickly become one of my favorite people. You can find us having late night chats almost weekly. Love her!
I rocked my bowling shoes! See how I match? Totally planned that outfit in advance. Except I totally didn't.
The bowling crew! Such a blast! I honestly, even as bad as I am, love bowling.

This is my sweet friend, Megan, who met us at BJ's later that night! Even though we live so close, we don't get to see each other near enough. Last time we saw each other was Christmas! Can you believe that? Thank you, Megan, for helping me celebrate!

I'm kicking myself right now because that is the only picture I took at BJ's. I never got a picture of our whole group! We were having far too much fun chatting and laughing. However, my pseudo parents, Jack and Cheryl, my parents, Mandy and Megan also joined us at dinner! Such a blast!
We got home and I was beyond thrilled to blow out 25 candles on my Funfetti cake. Nothing less, folks! Love me some Funfetti!

Aww, it looks like you had such a fun day! Those are the best birthdays, when you're surrounded with all the people you love.
It's too bad about your brother's stuff though! It just makes me sick when people steal our hard earned things.
Such fun with some great girls!
So sad I missed the bowling fun. We will have to have a redo soon!
Happy Birthday again, Lindsee!! Loved reading the recap...and that cake looks super duper yummy!!
You're TWENTY-FIVE. You're like a grown-up. Just wouldn't be a Lindsee birthday without a Lindsee moment. I just absolutely love you and cannot wait to FINALLY get the opportunity to celebrate your birthday with you this weekend.. so it's so not over maam!
I got so tickled looking at the pics of your office. So darn funny. That makes me miss Curtis being on a church staff. I'm glad you had a great birthday!
