A lot.
I like to read words.
I like to write words.
I like to say words.
I like words of encouragement.
I like all kinds of words.
I think the only wordy thing I'm not into is Words with Friends. The app is downloaded on my phone, but I've never opened it. Shame on me.
With that said, this iPhone dump will be all about words.
Like I said, I like to read words. Especially fiction words by Karen Kingsbury. When I was visiting my friend Raven in Ft. Worth a while back, we opened up her trunk to find all these books. Where we go, Karen goes.
I like to give words of encouragement. One of my old small group girls had a birthday, and since we couldn't see her in person, we sent her this picture. Happy birthday words are fun. Who doesn't love facebook on their birthday? Lots of word love.
These words represent our family exactly. Please excuse the language. We thought it was too funny to pass up. Since we did not actually buy the shirt, the picture had to suffice. Did you know that I'm the only girl, in between two boys? Yes, this shirt is perfect.
These are words to live by. Thank you, Beth Moore, for introducing these words to me. I found this old journal while I was cleaning out my junk in the garage one day, and it made my heart happy. I'm believing God!
Words sometimes describe your pain. Over Christmas one of our friends was in the hospital having four surgeries within two weeks. Can you imagine? When we went to visit him, we decorated his pain board.
According to my mom, sometimes you don't even need words. The use of emoticons will do. This was our texting conversation one night before Bible study. Can you say hilarious?! I love her.
Sometimes words give you a boost that will last you awhile and put an unexpected lump in your throat. Much like the words of encouragement below. I got each of these tweets right after my girls retreat, and they each filled my love tank immeasurably. These three ladies, Mrs. Jan, Beth Moore, and sweet Tammie are all women I respect and admire so much. They love Jesus so well. I want to be like them when I grow up. (Yes, I took a screen shot. Don't make fun. I wanted to treasure it.)
"Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift." Ephesians 4:29

So love this!!!! :)
Oh Lindsee - I was so tickled and surprised while reading your post to "see myself!" It's a rainy rainy night in Georgia and I'm catching up on some blog reading and I always love yours - and this word post was great. I have a coworker that "challenges" (think Winnie the Pooh's friend Eeyore) me and I really work hard to encourage her. It often helps me more than her...but I'm determined!
Have a good weekend and thank YOU for encouraging me for encouraging you!
Much love,
Mrs. Jan
