Fist Pump Thursday

Remember that time I declared I was back in blogging business? Well, it's Thursday and I've realized I've failed myself. All those four blog posts I planned on writing? Oh yes, they're still whirling around in my head but my fingers have yet to hit the keyboard writing any of them.

I'm cool like that.

So for today I'll leave you with some very fist pump revoking thoughts.

1) Would somebody please explain to me why they call speed bumps "Speed Bumps"? If I'm driving correctly, I recall myself slowing down to go over them, not speeding up. Hence why I think they should be called "Slow Bumps." All in agreement give me one fist pump!

2) Labor Day is fast approaching and in my mind that means one thing, I can no longer wear my white pants. That is very depressing to me. Since I know my white pant wearing days are coming to a quick halt, I'm trying to get all the wear I can out of them this week. All in agreement that the fashion industry should allow white pants until December give me two fist pumps!

3) I spent my entire day off this week apartment shopping with my soon-to-be roommate. By the end of the day I was exhausted! Not only that, I started fearing what my future finances were going to look like. If we want anything half decent, we're forced to spend what I consider a fortune. To relive my stress, I went to my step aerobics class. Actually, I talked myself out of going since I was so tired, and then I saw that Amanda was going which inspired me. I'm so glad I went. The endorphins were good for me. Plus, our instructor had a nice rock on her finger, if you know what I mean, and was giddy all night. So fun! All in agreement that apartments are ridiculously over-priced give me three fist pumps!

4) I've been waiting very patiently for my Fabulous K Creative blog make-over and I think it's finally in the beginning stages. Homegirl clearly is popular as I've been on the wait list since May. All in agreement that I need a blog make-over give me four fist pumps!

5) Shopping is my weakness, I'll readily admit that. Let's be honest here, I love me some clothes, er, retail therapy. However, because of my upcoming move I'm trying to save more and spend less. This means I'll be mixing and matching in an attempt to make it seem like I'm not wearing the same thing five days in a row. For this reason, I love me some "What I Wore Wednesday" hosted by Lindsey. Such cute outfits out there! Especially Lisa Leonard. Seriously darling. I want to be like her when I grow up. All in agreement that shopping is overrated give me five fist pumps! ;)

6) This Sunday I'm singing on our praise team. This delights me for many reasons, but I happen to be exceedingly joyful about this Sunday since we're doing Christy Nockel's A Mighty Fortress song. If you don't own her Life Light Up CD, run, don't walk, to your nearest iTunes and download it. The album is a treasure! All in agreement that Christy Nockel's voice is one of an angel and a ministry of it's own, give me TEN fist pumps!

I gave a solid 25. That is if my math is correct which is highly unlikely.
